Being a core engineer how did I land up in IT?

Long story...... We are usually known as the covid batch. I entered my college life, spent just 7 months and boom!!! Corona hits.... I am in fourth year now and excelling in IT related fields which is completely out of my domain. Being at home all the day due to lockdown, I was bored and started brushing up my programming skills. I brushed it up for almost 3 years and after rigorous practice and a lot's of projects, here I am.....
